Stacksteads Countryside Park Group is a group of volunteers who live in Stacksteads, a village of about 4000 residents in Rossendale, Lancashire. We were established in 2008 with the aim of improving the local environment, carrying out small scale projects such as litter picks, bulb planting and organising community events such as carol singing at Christmas and a Remembrance Day event. In more recent years our activities and projects increased in scale and we have been able to secure substantial funding for some major projects. We became a registered charity in April 2016 : Number 1166432
You can see more details about what we do from the Projects and Activities sections on our main website menu.
Our regular meetings are usually on the first Monday of every month at Rosemount WMC, Stacksteads. Thee meetings are open to everyone and we hope that as many of the community will come along with ideas, take part in discussions and get involved. If you would like to know more, you can get in touch through the contact page on this website or via our Facebook Page. The Facebook page also has news about our activities and future events.
